Cultural Workshops

Our Cultural Workshops invite you to sit down with local artists, organizers, and cultural practitioners and actually make something together. These are hands-on spaces where you might paint, write, craft, cook, or learn a traditional practice while hearing the stories behind it. Sessions center communities whose voices are often sidelined, especially LGBTQ and BIPOC creators, and offer room for real questions and conversation. We keep group sizes manageable so folks can connect, not just watch from the back of a room. Workshops can be shaped for guests staying in our rentals, visiting conference groups, or local organizations wanting a more grounded, human way to talk about culture and belonging. Materials are provided, and accessibility needs are welcomed in the planning process. You walk away with skills, stories, and, often, something you've made with your own hands to carry home.
